1. Collection and Storage of Data

This app does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. All processing takes place either locally on your device or via anonymized analytics services for the sole purpose of improving and analyzing the app.

2. Anonymous Usage Analytics (Microsoft Clarity)

We have integrated Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymized usage data such as:

• a randomly generated, non-traceable session identifier (no user names or emails),
• interaction events (which features are used, button taps, screen views),
• technical metadata (language settings, OS version, app version, region),
• anonymized IP address (first two octets only) for coarse geographic analysis.

Purpose: To understand usage patterns and improve app stability, performance, and feature set.
No profiling: We do not use Clarity for targeted advertising, marketing, or any cross-app profiling.
Retention: All Clarity data is automatically purged after 30 days.

3. International Data Transfers

All analytics data collected via Microsoft Clarity is processed and stored on Microsoft’s servers in Ireland (EU). Microsoft may transfer and replicate data within its global cloud infrastructure under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards. No personal identifiers leave these protected environments.

4. Use of Location Data

The app may use location data locally (e.g. to calculate speed or display coordinates), but does not store or transmit it off your device.

5. Use of Device Sensors

All sensor data (barometric pressure, accelerometer, etc.) is processed entirely on your device and is not transmitted.

6. Use of Camera

Barcode and QR code scanning occurs locally; no images or metadata are uploaded.

7. Legal Basis & Your Rights

European Union / EEA (GDPR)

Legal basis: Your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) is required before any non-essential analytics run. You may withdraw consent at any time with one tap in Settings → Privacy → Analytics. Withdrawal is as easy as granting consent.

Your rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, please contact us (see below).

China (PIPL)

Under China’s Personal Information Protection Law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information that we have processed. To submit a request, please contact us (see below). We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Other Regions

• Canada (PIPEDA): You may withdraw consent and request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
• United States (CCPA/CPRA): We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined under California law. You may still request access to or deletion of your data.

8. Data Retention

All anonymized analytics data collected via Microsoft Clarity is retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted. Other local data (e.g. sensor readings, camera scans) is not stored persistently.
